Why is my Hard drive stuck in the case?

I have opened the drive cover, but the connector has only partly detached. The drive is quite tight on both sides - last time I took it out it was quite easy. Have been using the same Spudgers - plastic. There is also now a screw - one of the 3 in the triangle shape, roughly in the centre of the case which is just turning without being able to be pulled out using a magnetised screwdriver.

I am having to repeat this procedure as I think I might have disconnected the cable to the daughterboard which controls the USB PORTS, and the Charge /Power LED'S.

I am more used to working on Desktop PC'S, So I am a bit lost here - despite following ifixit guides.

Greateful for any advice which might be worth knowing. I do have photos of the drive
