Hi, I just installed a keyboard and battery top base, after i completed it powered up and i was able to login. I plugged it in with a high power charger that i use on my 2019 macbook pro. Left it for couple days now its not powering on. Tried different plugs and cords and still nothing. Not sure whats wrong. Please help. Thank you.

If your laptop won’t power on after working initially, start with a hard reset. Disconnect the charger and any accessories, then hold the power button for 20–30 seconds to discharge residual power. Reconnect only the original or manufacturer-recommended charger (high-power chargers can sometimes cause issues). Check that the battery connector is firmly seated and wasn’t loosened during installation. Inspect the charging port for debris or damage. If there’s no charging light or response, the battery or power board may be faulty. Try powering on without the battery (if possible). If it still fails, professional repair is recommended.

Hi, update on this. I removed the battery screw and the ribbon above it and then it powered on. Powered it off then put the screw back and didnt power on. So maybe the battery is shorted out. Is it possible that the cables might have gotten shorted?

Always use the correct voltage charger (The one the macbook was designed to use), a 'High Power' charger is not going to make it charge faster or any performance boost.... it may well damage the unit eventually if not already has.
