Sony CMT-CPX1 – Tuning knob issue (frequency keeps changing)
Hello,
I’m having an issue with the tuning knob on my Sony CMT-CPX1.
When I move the tuning button up, the frequency decreases as expected. However, when I return it to the neutral position, the frequency keeps increasing on its own.
The same thing happens when increasing the frequency — once I put the knob back to neutral, it keeps changing instead of stopping.
Has anyone experienced this issue or knows what could be causing it?

Does the problem occur only when using the tuning knob on the control panel or also when tuning using the remote control unit?
