My computer's screen broke.
I was wondering if there were any guides on how to replace the screen.
If not, does anyone know which Asus laptops would be similar enough to follow it's guide instead?
Laptops are expensive and I'd rather not buy a new one, though I do know that they make them almost impossible to repair :/

I might point out that in many cases you don't actually have to remove the display assembly from the main case of the laptop; it depends on how the hinge covers are made.
If that's the case, you could skip all of the initial steps and start at Step 9 instead. I'd suggest trying that; if you can get the bezel off at that point then you're all set; unscrew the LCD, flip it down and unplug it and there you go. Otherwise just go back and start at the beginning.
