[SOLVED] MacBook Pro Not booting up after battery replacement

I did battery replacement for my Macbook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2012
Charged upto green light

When first connected to charge , heard booting sound , but lid was closed
After charge completed , opened the lid and pressed power button , nothing happens

Any idea

FYI : I have connected only one fan as I broke fan connector during disassembly

Solved : As the accept comment below, I missed the keyboard connection, so the power button didn't work. Realized this system started automatically booting up on charging and lifting lid

Thanks all for the response

@baruchh - This series does not have a lid angle sensor, just a simple Hall sensor mounted within the logic board. Even still the sensor wouldn't stop the power.

A common issue in this series is the keyboard ribbon cable which carries th power button signal to the logic board doesn't get inserted fully and/or the ZIF connector compression bar (latch) is not connecting things together.

How about posting a picture of both the broken connector so we can see what happened and the keyboard cable and its connector. Reference Step25 in MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mitte 2012 Akku austauschen

After a battery replacement, the MacBook may fail to power on if something inside isn’t fully connected. First, check that the battery connector is seated properly and that the battery data cable and keyboard/power button cable are firmly attached. Try an SMC reset by connecting the charger and holding Shift + Control + Option + Power for about 10 seconds, then press the power button again. Also inspect the fan connector area you mentioned—damage there could affect the logic board or prevent startup. Disconnect the battery, reconnect it carefully, and try powering on again. If it still doesn’t start, a loose cable or minor board damage during disassembly is likely.
