I just bought a brand spanking new refurbished PSP-3006 and the microphone is not working. Have attached a USB Microphone (the one that comes with Talk It translator) on top as a workaround but would love to have the internal microphone working at some stage. I'm not sure where to begin, not willing to strip the console down without some homework first.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Shan Memon, the first thing I would do is to contact the vendor. Since it is a "brand new" refurbished PSP, I wonder what else is going to happen down the road with it.....

Hi thanks for the response, appreciated. However it clearly stated on the site of purchase that its a Refurbished and has no warranty ergo me going the way of i-fixit.
Sorry to hear that. It's definitely not good business. Anyhow, I guess the next thing will be to take it apart and see if the flex is properly connected and if not, time to replace it. Cost is around $20 for the flex with mic.
