My controller is recognized in windows but the led doesnt turn on.

My Xbox controller, which I was installing TMR sticks as soon as I finished installing the sticks, the controller gets connected, and Windows recognizes it as wireless_device, but it doesn't work at all. I installed the right stick first. I tested it and calibrated, and it worked fine, but as soon as I finished the left stick, the controller got recognized, but the LED indicator didn't turn on, and there was no input. The traces were all perfect, and no missing components. Is it the TMR's fault?. I will try desoldering it later, but I want answers, please!!!. thanks.

Update (03/31/26)

Update: At a certain point when I barely connect the two boards together it shows the led and if I kinda move even so slightly it stops. And I hear this buzzing noise very low from the controller

Hi!

Sound like board issues there. And as how you describe it, it's related to the connector that connect both boards with each other.

Would check that one first if it's still OK, otherwise try a replacement board and see how that goes.

Could be the stick, but it's most likely not it. You can test it anyway with desoldering the stick and solder a new one in.

So I have a different Xbox series board and I tried swapping them both and it said the same thing. Is it bad?

Okay, so which board did you replace? The board with the joysticks on it? Or the board with the battery pins? Thanks :)!

I replaced the board with the sticks on to a new housing with different board it showed the same thing. So the problem is most likely on the board with the sticks. The U11 chip was kinda grazed but not fully damaged (how do I attach photos). My soldering skill definitely improved and I made sure no traces were damaged. The right stick worked perfectly, now as soon as the left one was installed it just doesn't turn on.

Then it's most likely the board. I'm afraid something went to hot and died on there... Replacing the board is most likely the fix to go with. Sorry.
