Why does my PS3 turns on but never turns

When ever I turn on my PS3 it turns on but doesn't read the HDD and doesn't display any output and never turns off till I rip the power cord out please help.

Hi!

First of all, I removed your email address in the question. It’s for the best to stay on the forum :)!

When you remove the HDD, it should show an error. Is this the case?? If not, it could be the HDMI cable or AV cables. I would test with another set first if possible.

First of all ive broken the HDD caddy handle now it wont budge and second i already did that and its the same symptoms without the Hdd so now

E waste or reparible

Did you test both with AV and HDMI?

If both does not give a signal, it could be the APU..
