Heater works but no air goes to defrost
The heater works on my 2015 Nissan Frontier. When I turn on the defrost now air comes out the defrost vents.

@shawnpotts39356 The issue seems to be related to your Mode Door Motor. that is what open and closes the different vent gates.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Mode door motor
• Mode door motor control linkage installation condition
• A/C auto amp.
• Harness and connector (Mode door motor circuit is open or shorted)
Since these error would give you a B error code (B2636 etc.) they may not turn your service engine light on. I would get the pickup's OBDII scanned and see what error pops up. Let us know.
Now if you need/want to know more about your HVAC system here are the HAand HAC chapters from the SM that deal with that. Page 84 in the HAC chapter tells you how to check the mode door motor.
Now, if you feel no heat anywhere then the issue could be related to the Air mix door motor or even the temperature switch. Again, all of that will be in the SM. Let us know what you find out.
