GSM or 4S back cover on Verizon 4?

My friend cracked the back on his Verizon iPhone 4, and I have replacement backs for a GSM model and a 4S.

Is there any way to make one of those work on it?

Maybe by removing one or two of the mounting brackets?

Yes you can exchange the iphone4 CDMA parts on iPhone 4s without logic board.
