Remove GPS, Wifi, and disconnect mic
how do I remove the GPS and wifi chip(s), and disconnect the microphone to use an external mic?

@jeffcobb57476 you'd be running in trouble with that since your phone is looking for those things on startup etc. You'd be looking at an incredibly complex circuit board modification. You are talking about lifting the WiFi/GPS BGA IC of the board and rewiring the mics (your phone has 3) etc. Very complex and complicated and most likely you would also need a firmware revision.
You may have the wrong device for whatever reason you want to do that. Out of curiosity, let us know why you want to do these extreme measures.
