The disc drive is super loud but works
it works but the disc drive is super super loud it makes a high pitched zzzzzzzzz sound.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Hi!
Yep, more drives are getting this, these days.
It’s actually the metal (where the whole spindle assembly is installed on).
If you press on that piece of metal, you will notice that it will stop with the high pitching sound, or at least it will reduce the sound.
The only thing is, is that it’s difficult to find this part…
Replacing the drive will solve it, but that ain’t cheap.
