I love my wii and in other news the eject button broke :(
The eject button does not press and it’s stuck but if you press it super hard it sometimes ejects

Hi!
Okay, could be the faceplate with the buttons on it OR the actual button soldered on the motherboard.
I would first replace the faceplate and see if that works.
Guide: Nintendo Wii Frontplatte austauschen
If this also fails, you need to desolder the old button and solder a new one in.
Won’t be easy, but is doable if you have soldering experience.
Please let us know how it goes with a new faceplate!

I do have another Wii to harvest a faceplate from but that other Wii is special because it was my dads and my older sister and 2 older brothers wii and it has the internet channel and a old version of Netflix installed so I am not using that Wii for parts I don’t know what to do
Hmm, best thing is to order a new faceplate and test it. If it’s still failing, return it.
It’s the best way to test I guess!
