Hat der iMac 5K 2014 einen J5100 Port am Mainboard?
Hat der iMac 5K von 2014 den Service-Port J5100 auf dem Mainboard und kann ich da das Kabel von Chipsetpro nutzen um das EFI zu reparieren?

@hananjaofficial|new_window=true] when you are looking for a J5100 I can tell you it does nto have that descriptor on the board. That is not to say it des not have that port, just not as J5100. I think you'd be looking at J5200 on the 2014 board. What board do you have that has the J5100? That way I can compare the boards to find the right connector. Also, which cable from Chipsetpro are you looking at?

Das heißt aber nicht, dass der Anschluss nicht vorhanden ist, nur nicht als J5100. Ich glaube, auf der Platine von 2014 würdest du nach einem J5200 suchen müssen. Welches Board hast du, auf dem der J5100 verbaut ist? Dann kann ich die Boards vergleichen, um den richtigen Anschluss zu finden. Und welches Kabel von Chipsetpro hast du im Auge?

@hananjaofficial Now what I want to discover is the actual connector. You mentioned J5100. Your board, the 820-4652 does not have that connector. What board or computer, that you are looking at, is the one with the J5100? Once I will know that, I can give you a definite answers based on the connections. I did check with your data cable vendor but do not see one for the iMac. Again, all the more reason to find out which board the J5100 belongs to. Hope that makes sense.

Auf welcher Platine oder in welchem Computer, den du dir gerade ansiehst, befindet sich der J5100? Sobald ich das weiß, kann ich dir anhand der Anschlüsse eine konkrete Antwort geben. Ich habe bei deinem Datenkabel-Anbieter nachgeguckt, finde aber keines für den iMac. Umso mehr Grund, herauszufinden, zu welcher Platine der J5100 gehört. Ich hoffe, das macht Sinn.

Aber ich kenne eine Spezialisten für solche Fälle, der zaubert bestimmt einen Schaltplan aus dem Ärmel wo das draufsteht ;-)

@hananjaofficial we will need to know the exact 820-XXXX number from your logic board. If the device you selected is the proper one then I would expect that number to be a 820-4652 which is the part number for the Late2014 logic board.

Das ist der 27 Zoll iMac von 2014 a1419 und die boardnummer müsste 820-4652 oder 820-5029 sein.
