iPhone 13 Pro Max white/pink screen then dead after repair
My iPhone 13 Pro Max started with white screen flickering but was still usable underneath. I could still receive notifications and even screen mirror to my MacBook.
Over time it became:
- white screen
- occasional recovery
- then reboot loops with pink screen flashes before shutdown
A third-party shop replaced the display with a non-genuine screen. After that:
- phone rebooted every ~5 mins
- then eventually stopped turning on completely
Apple checked it and said:
- connectors looked fine
- no obvious tampering
- but they could not power it on
Phone still warms slightly while charging.
Does this sound more like:
- OLED/display failure,
- battery/power management,
- or board-level issue?
Has anyone seen similar 13 Pro Max cases where the data was still recoverable?
