I have an Ipad 5th gen that charges normally when turned off. The moment it boots the Amps drop to 0. There's no debris and nothing is stuck in the charging port.
if its turned on the battery also doesn't go higher than 1%
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

The battery may need replacing.

hi, so i replaced the battery but i'm still having the same issue. do you think it might be a chip problem om the logic-board?
Don't know Apple products that well but in the tablet go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data and see if there's a panic log which may have data in it that may show what's happening.
If there is post it back here in your question above (click on Options > Edit) and maybe one of the other regular contributors more versed with Apple may be able to spot something.
