Plug a mobile phone into the USB port in the car and check if the phone shows that it is charging.
If it doesn't then that's the reason why the USB memory stick isn't working as it needs power to operate.
The owner manuals for the model year range you selected don't specify but check if fuse #33 in the passenger cabin fuse block is OK.
If the phone shows that is it charging, have you proved that the USB memory stick is OK by inserting it into a computer to see if it is recognized and works?
