With the charger connected and the laptop turned on, create a battery report to check the condition of the battery.
When you have the report, compare the Design Capacity value versus the Full Charge Capacity value as shown by the report. For a good battery they should be very close in value.
You can determine the condition of the battery as a percentage by using the formula, Full Charge Capacity x 100 ÷ Design Capacity.
If the battery percentage is <40% you may wish to consider replacing the battery.
Here's a video that may help. The battery model number is shown on the top left side of the battery. Search online using the model number of the battery only in your laptop, to find suppliers that suit you best.
