1 Beats Solo 4: No power and no sound in left ear - suspect broken hinge wires
My Beats Solo 4 has no sound in the left ear and will not power on, even though the LED shows a solid light when charging. I've tried a factory reset and changing cables with no luck. I suspect the internal wiring in the hinge is frayed or broken. Has anyone successfully disassembled the Solo 4 to repair or solder these wires? Any tips on opening the housing without causing damage would be greatly appreciated.
