Here's the service manual for the refrigerator model that you selected, that may be of some help.
Go to p.60 (59 of 136 pdf) in the manual to view the procedure how to enter the Self- Diagnostics function and check if any error codes are being shown.
The error codes, their meaning and test methods are shown on p.62 →p.63 (61 → 62 of 136 pdf) in the manual.
There are also more detailed troubleshooting flowcharts on p.94 → p.110 (93 →109 pdf) in the manual.

@nielvarnie if the issue is specifically the compressor not starting/running, first thing to check is whether the inverter (the motor driver that powers the 3-phase compressor, usually located on the backside of the unit behind the PCB cover about waist height) is blinking any errors from the red LED
If it is, generally speaking it's typically a failed inverter or a failed compressor, and determining which can be difficult. There's an inverter fault key on pg.123 of the service manual @jayeff posted, count the blinks (if any)
If I may ask both of you, is there a general history of circuit board and/or compressor failures with electronically controlled refrigerators while the basic refrigeration mechanics remains the same regardless of refrigerant used?
@F Dryer, not in my experience. More complexity adds more possible points of failure, but in my area I still see a lot of mechanical thermostats, and replace a lot of them as well
Electronically controlled appliances are the status quo now. Most operate reliably, but when problems arise they can be more complicated to diagnose properly and more expensive to fix
LG had a major problem with their linear compressors failing most notably between 2014 -2017, (which were also used in some Kenmore models) that resulted in class action lawsuits.
There are reports that some owners are now experiencing problems with LG's new compressor design (2018 →), so maybe it's not completely resolved. Time will tell I suppose.
