Touchscreen/display comes on to lock screen with side power button. Screen lights up when tapped, but I only showing colored vertical lines. Screen won't respond otherwise & face unlock & fingerprint don't work. . Lock screen fades to dark then vertical colored lines cover the screen. The colored lines then fade out to a black screen with faint lines. Have tried resetting with power button.

@jeniferroth is this regarding the same phone as on this question? Touch Screen is not responding properly & has vertical colored lines
If so we need to know if your phone is a XT2315 or a XT2313.
For now and not matter which model it is, this does sound like you have a bad display. You will need to replace it then re-evaluate.
