If you can still navigate through the tablet, to factory reset device go to Settings → Backup and Reset → Factory data reset → Reset device.
Alternatively, with the tabled turned off, press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons (both together) and when the logo appears on the screen release the Power button only (keep holding the Volume UP button) until it's in the Recovery menu then release the Volume Up button.
When in Recovery, use the Volume keys to navigate to the Wipe data/factory reset option and then press the Power button to start the reset procedure.
