Meta Quest 2: Ist das Scharnier selbst auch reparierbar?

Ich habe eine alte Oculus Quest 2 aus einem Nachlass bekommen. ⏎
Leider war der Vorbesitzer damit sehr unachtsam damit und nicht nur, dass die Riemen irgendwie notdürftig mit Kabelbindern und Panzertape befestigt wurden, das schlimmste ist, dass das linke Scharnier, das direkt mit der Brille verbunden sein sollte, abgebrochen ist und der Strap da nur irgendwie drüber geklebt wurde.⏎
Absolut abenteuerlich.⏎
Und obwohl man jeeeede Menge neue Gurte und Straps im Netz findet, finde ich nichts, ob und wenn ja, wie man dieses Scharnier eventuell Tauschen könnte.

Ihr Menschen hier seid die letzte Rettung für eine ansonsten noch voll funktionstüchtige Quest 2! D:

EDIT: Hier ein paar Bildervon der Misere gemacht. Das rechte Scharnier ist noch intakt. Auf der linken Seite istnur noch das angeklebt, was eigentlich auf das Scharnier selbst geklebt wird. Darunter sieht man dann auch schon den kleinen, schwarzen Lautsprecher der Brille (der zum Glück noch intakt ist).

Also meine oculus hat ein sehr bunten Filter und das ist unten Links ein schwarzer Punkt, könne sie das reparieren weil für sowas ähnliches gab es keine Option

Meta Quest 3: Headset Gesichtsaufsatz, Feder defekt

Der Gesichtsaufsatz des Headsets weist innen links und rechts 2 kleine Knöpfe auf, um die Tiefe des Aufsatzes einzustellen. Die Knöpfe sind scheinbar mit einer Art Feder gelagert.

Welche Optionen gibt es, wenn sich die Feder vom Knopf gelöst hat? Der Knopf liegt nun drucklos in der Knopf-Aussparung und fixiert die Tiefe nicht mehr.

Oculus bietet keine Ersatzkabel für die CV1 mehr an.

Man kann also höchstens – meistens zu exorbitantnen Preisen – gebrauchte Kabel bei ebay kaufen aber das birgt immer auch das Risiko, dass man sehr schnell wieder vor dem gleichen Problem steht: Kabelbruch.

Hat jemand Erfahrungen damit, ein CV1 Kabel zu reparieren?

wo bekommt man Ersatzteile für DK2 ? Mein Kabel ist an der Zusammenführung der beiden Stecker am Kopf der Brille gebrochen.

Meta Quest 2: Why does my meta quest show boot screen but then go to blank screen

So when I turn on my headset it shows a booting screen (the one with the meta logo) and then it spins around 8-12 times and then it goes to a grey screen. I’ve tried side-loading updates and everything in the menu that you get to with vol down and power. Nothings working.

My oculus quest 1 has been acting up and can’t charge. It is dead right now and when I plug it in it gives me a red light. I have now changed the cable 3 times and wait for an hour before plugging it back in to see if it was overheating. Please help me!

Hi, I was hoping somebody can help advise me on how to resolve my Meta Quest 3s being stuck on USB Update Mode screen, I have performed a Factory reset and followed numerous videos relating to this issue on YouTube but the device keeps looping back to the USB Update Mode screen and I am unable to get passed it?

On my third Quest 3 in 2 years 3 months. Replaced by Meta. They’ve all failed similarly in that they are working as expected, put on a charger and show boundary or tracking issues on next use. Software reinstall and factory restore either don’t solve the issue or brick the unit.

Current unit followed same flow except I’ve been able to get it partially working but not usable after multiple restores and software reinstalls.

it will boot but shows Finding Position in Room. Then without interaction it will show the menu bar at the bottoms, then flash back to Finding Position. Pass through works intermittently. When it does work the room has waves, jumps between zoomed to unzoomed views, sections of the room to sides flash in front of me, the view has fractures in it, there are what are best described as lightening bolts across the screen with combined views of what’s in front of me and to the sides. Menus, if I can get them to come up, slide in and out of view or change distances and positions, controller functionality is intermittent…the list goes on. I’m sometimes able to get it stable enough or click fast enough to get to some menu choices so have cleared and tried to reset the boundaries although redraw may not have completed. No experimental features are on so “lie down” is not enabled but I’ve been able to reset the experimental features (none were enabled)

No external damage to any of the cameras. The device has never been dropped. If i try long enough to work through menus the top front gets very warm/hot which I think is where the heat sink is located.

Is this all due to a failed tracking sensor? Bad mb? Both?

I want to make myself a charging dock out of the box the headset came in but I'd need to know the pinout and possible handshake I would need to mimic. Could anyone who has the dock measure the voltages and see/record and communication over the data pin?

(I am an owner of a Meta Quest 3S and the problem at hand is that the headset is stuck In a black screen but what happens is that there is still audio and the use of menú buttons still emits sound and the start up animation still reproduces and the boot menu is still accessible and visible but menús, power options, turn off & on pop ups are not visible as well as the cameras

The meta quest forum and the reddit community offered the idea to factory reset and to update using the side load update through the official meta quest web and the original problem of the menú just appearing and the controllers bring useless i reset it and the result was that the proximity error disappeared but the black screen is still there

Soy dueño de un casco Meta Quest 3S y el problema que ha ocurrido es que la pantalla del casco se queda en negro pero aún emite sonido se puede escuchar el abrir y cerrar de menús y se puede ver qué la pantalla sigue funcional ya que se pueden ver la animación de inicio y el menú de booteo es funcional se ve y funciona pero los menús, opciones de apagado y avisos de apagado no son visibles al igual que las cámaras

La comunidad de meta Quest en reddit y el foro oficial me han dicho de formatear el casco y utilizar la opción de actualizar a través de side load desde la página oficial de meta Quest una vez actualizado el error original de la pantalla de buscando posición en sala no fue un problema pero la pantalla en negro sigue siendo un problema constante

Meta Quest 3S: Headset's tracking completely stopped working

I was playing VRChat on this headset and the tracking on it completely stops working where the cameras are off and the microphone only works if I hold the power button (after 5 seconds of holding it would shut it down) as well as the controllers not responding to anything beside the quest menu button so I had to use the head direction movements and volume buttons to navigate around the menus. I went to the Headset Tracking option and the switch is stuck on as it won't let me toggle it at all.I'vr also used ADB to clear the data of all the oculus system apps and restart it to safe mode but it didn't fix the problem. Is there something wrong with the hardware or does it need to be factory reset?

My Quest 3 USB port is only allowing charging, plugging it on my pc it gets unrecognized but seen, for now im using adb, but i prefer when i can connect it to my pc.
