In der Anleitung gibt es keinen Hinweis für das Ölen dieser Nähmaschine. Ich hatte sie vor einigen Jahren zum Service beim ursprünglichen Händler gebracht, leider gibt es diese Firma nicht mehr. Die Maschine geht etwas lauter als sonst, haben Sie einen Tip für mich? Beste Grüße M. H.

leider ist bei meiner Gritzner 788 das vordere Ende des Unteegreifers abgebrochen. Kann man den mit mittlerem Geschick selber wechseln?

wir haben im Repaircafe 3 baugleiche Singer 784, diesen ist das Kunstoffzahnrad des Greiferantriebs ausgebrochen. Wie können wir den Greifer ausbauen und das Zahnrad ersetzen ?

Singer HD 4432: Lower bobbin group pieces , maybe a screw is missing.

After having paid a fortune and being screwed up by the singer repair centre, as the machine returned home with the same problem, I decided to fix it myself.I believe the problem is very simple..IN THE LOWER GROUP containing the little bobbin reel of tread , the bobbin is lodged into a round black plastic housing of which ,at its bottom has a metal little round shaped with two holes, one little and one larger.. I discover this plastic round housing the bobbin of tread has no screw to keep itself fixed to the machine ( the bigger hole matches the position of an existing hole inside the machine.). I BELIEVE this can be the cause of the machine getting stuck after a few stitches and a loads of tread pieces are pulled out from the lower mechanism every time the machine gets stuck in the sewing process.

I need to know if a screw is needed or not to keep the housing of the bobbin of tread fixed to te machine.

I found this spring laying loose in the bottom right of the machine when I took the plastic off to oil it. I cannot find it on any part diagrams. All functions seemed to be working before I oiled. Does anyone know where it goes?

Salve a tutti,

Mi hanno dato questa macchina da cucire, ho seguito le istruzioni alla lettera e guardato due video ma non riesco a far salire il filo della bobina. Quando scendo con l'ago questo non riporta in su niente, e smontando il porta bobina mi sembra che l'ago quando è nella posizione più bassa sia lontano dal meccanismo a punta che dovrebbe prendere il filo e farlo girare intorno raccogliendo quello della spolina di sotto. Non capisco se sono io il problema o la macchina ha qualche problema, ho fatto due video e una foto in cui si vede la pozione dell'ago rispetto al gancio. Spero che qualcuno mi possa dare un aiuto, grazie!

Mi è stato detto che la macchina ha perso la sincronizzazione tra sopra e sotto e che l'ago rotante inferiore arriva troppo in ritardo rispetto all'ago. Ho provato a regolare il sopra e il sotto ma sembra che in qualsiasi posizione l'ago rotante colpisca l'ago superiore.

My Brother CS-6000i is sewing in reverse and will not switch back to forward sewing. I did an online chat with Brother (the manufacturer) but because it isn’t under warranty, they want me to join an on line service for $65 a month to chat with a technician. I have tried resetting to the factory defaults as described in another “online fix it” but it won’t reset either. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t know how to fix it. It sews beautifully backwards!

My sewing machine jams as soon as I install the shuttle/bobbin case. The top rod (take-up lever) stops moving entirely when the shuttle is in place, but the machine runs smoothly when the shuttle is removed. I have cleaned out the lint and checked for basic jams, but the issue persists. Is this a shuttle timing issue or an alignment problem with the shuttle race? It is an Indian-style machine (similar to Usha/Singer manual models). Any advice on how to align the hook or reset the timing would be appreciated.

Sewing Machine: Smoke from the engine

Bernina Bernette 330 from the eighties, apparently in good shape.

Turning the wheel, the needle moved. I turned the engine on, light went on but the needle didn't move. After a couple of minutes, a buzzing noise and a whisp of white smoke. It smells like paper smoke. Is there something I can do?
