Von meinem Pencil ist das gelbe/goldene Teil das in die Spitze reingeht abgebrochen, Apple will das nicht reparieren, weil es sich nicht „lohnt“.

Den Double Tab und Lade Funktionen funktionieren alles aber nur dieses gelbe metallische Teil ist komplett abgebrochen und jetzt schreibt es nicht mehr :(

Bei mir bleibt eine Taste ohne Eingabe weiter unter als die anderen, auch das Anschlaggefühl ist ein anderes. Kann man selbst das Problem lösen, in dem man die Taste entfernt und mal nachsieht ob Sie verunreinigt ist ?

Hallo!

Eine Taste funktioniert nicht.

Ich habe die Tasste herausgenommen,es war aber nichts zu sehen.

Es ist nicht notwendig,die Rückseite zu öffnen

Das board ist mit der Unterseite verklebt. Hinten sind zwei Schrauben, das Board ist aber mit kleinen Pins mit der Oberseite verschmolzen.

Es scheint eine Leiterbahn zwischen dem s und d gebrochen zu sein, man kommt aber nicht dran, weil noch eine Folie darüber ist.

Habe jetzt den Steg zwischen den beiden Tasten etwas hochgebogen, jetzt funktioniert es wenigstens manchmal.

Aus meiner Sicht leider nicht mehr zu gebrauchen.

Hi I have the pencil 2 and an 2020 iPad Pro the pencil has connected to the iPad magnetically and showing on Bluetooth, however the pencil is not doing anything I have tried the following

turn Bluetooth on and off

forgot pencil in Bluetooth and reconnecting

restarting ipad

changed tips

all with no joy. Has anyone any ideas that may help? Thanks

iPad 2 Smart Cover: Ipad cover coming apart

The cover is coming apart where it flips over at the magnetic base. There is the hard edge that clings to the iPad and a flexible, rubber cover that seemed to be glued to it. Whatever was holding it together has worn away. I tried double-faced tape to reattach it, but it doesn't hold. Any suggestions on an adhesive to use to repair it?

I dropped my Apple Pencil a few days ago and the tip snapped off. I ordered some new tips and I tried to screw one in with no luck. I looked it up and a piece of the broken tip might still be inside the Pencil. How can I get this out?

I purchased a used apple pencil 2nd gen. and the tip is snapped off inside. The end part of the tip that’s a hollow circle. Any ides on how to get it out? I’ve been trying tweezers with no luck.

iPad Accessories: Logitech Crayon - Replacement power button

Hi all,

So my son inexplicably lost just the power button from his Logitech Crayon for his iPad. we’ve searched all over and can’t find it. I contacted Logitech and they say that:

Unfortunately there are no spare power buttons for the Crayon

They are offering a replacement Crayon if I have a “receipt”, but I purchased it used on eBay and so I doubt they will honour it, not to mention that it seems like quite a waste when the Crayon is working perfectly if you poke the power button with a pin!

I’m not sure what to do; I was wondering if perhaps someone has a 3D model that can be used with a 3D printer (though I don’t have a printer myself), or perhaps a broken Crayon they are not using which I’d be willing to purchase for the parts? I did have a look on eBay but couldn’t find any broken units to salvage the button from.

Any advice would be super helpful, thanks in advance!

iPad ClamCase: Some keys stop workiing on clamcase pro

I bought a clamcase pro about three months ago, it was working perfect but now sometimes certain keys stop working or are inconsistent.

Could it be a clamcase issue or an issue of the ipad (ipad 3 generation recently upgraded to OS 8.1) or could it be the software microsoft 365 for IPad? any ideas please share.
