-twbranch, I just checked the schematic and what you are looking at is a 250ohm ferrite bead, used for EMI control. you might just apply a jumper which would allow you to at least check to see if the circuit is working. Only thing you might experience is higher interference. this is a common part and should be available at places like mouser.com or digikey.com. Hope this helps, good luck.
