Leslie, it may just be that your battery is dead. After hours of use taking photos it is likely that the camera needs to be charged. Simply charge the battery and go from there. If that doesn't work then you might want to look at the [[Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7 Troubleshooting|troubleshooting page]] for this camera.
