What I'm getting out of this, is that your phone works, but your new display assembly doesn't. Likely you purchased poor quality parts, and that's why you're having this issue. It could be the connector on the logic board, but that's a whole different problem to rule out. What I didn't see in your post, is if the original display assembly you had, was working or not.
