sjwilkinson86 , Ensure charger is working and device is charged. There a few reset procedures you can try.
Try this reset procedure 1st., Press and hold the power button for exactly 35 seconds then release, wait 2 minutes, then power on device. May have to repeat this 3x, if does not work try procedure #2.

2nd rest procedure: Plug the Tablet into the charger for 5-10 minutes, (while still plugged in) press and hold power button for 35 seconds, wait for up to 3 minutes for the Tablet to reboot.

Still not power up properly, find the reset hole in the side of the device and use a straightened paper clip to press the reset button.
Still not working return for warranty as defective, if warranty still valid. Good luck.
