Hi!

Before you order any parts, let's take a look at what the damage might be. Follow this [guide|2011|guide] and check the rubber membrane of the Start/ Select buttons  for damage or cracks. Next check the gold contacts it sits on. These need to be shiny and if there is any gunk on them, you need to clean them up with isopropyl alcohol.
