iPad Air screen flicker and reboot

Recently my iPad Air’s screen would flicker quite violently often resulting in an automatic reboot. Then it just went off altogether. I tried to plug it into the charger but nothing. So I connected it to my Mac and put it into DFU mode, eventually got it to boot back up but the screen flicker remains and almost constant reboot loop. Any help appreciated
