If the keyboard suffered liquid damage usually drying it out doesn't fix the problem of the corrosion caused by the impurities in the liquid. The corrosion is ongoing until it has been properly cleaned off
The easiest way is to replace the keyboard.
You can try disassembling the keyboard and cleaning away any corrosion with Isopropyl Alcohol 99%+ (available at electronics parts stores) but this may not be easy or even fix the problem if some components have also been damaged.
What is the make and model number of the laptop?
