You may be out of luck.
According to what I can find out the CPU only supports a maximum 2GB of ram.
-If the CPU in the laptop is an Intel N570 Atom, here are the [https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/55637/intel-atom-processor-n570-1m-cache-1-66-ghz.html|specifications]. Scroll down to Memory Specifications.
