'''++@axelhow++'''  since this is the identical area that is unresponsive my money would be on the touchscreen IC or possibly the connector being an issue. This sounds like a board level repair and you may need to connect with people that do that type of repair. I’d be contacting @refectio or @imicrosoldering and see what they have up their sleeve.
