I have a 2004 3.9 40th anniversary edition Manuel.. So my car did the same thing.. I drove it shut it off and No Crank No Start.. I replaced the battery,,the starter still nothing.. This went on for a week,,I was bound and determined to get that car fixed.. Noone wanted to hear what I was saying..So I went to my cousin told him what I thought was wrong,,he checked it still Nothing..The next day I just new thst was the problem my car drive fine,, then all the sudden nothing. NO Crank No Start.. To make a long Story Short The clutch has a Safety Switch on it. Mine wasn't even bad it had just worked its way loose over time.. So I bought a battery and starter that I was told was no good.. And it was the safety switch on the clutch..

And it was the safety switch on the clutch.. So,if you drive a Manuel and ever have a NO CRANK NO Start Issue check that switch before you go out and buy parts that you might not need…
