I would start by taking a look at the bevel gear. Luckily ifixit has a guide to access it. Looks pretty simple to me. Just follow the steps carefully and keep track of the parts. If you see chipped teeth or metal chunks/shavings, ya might need to replace the gears and refill the grease. I’m not sure what kind of grease they use but I’m sure you can find out online.
