Any chance minerals from tap water calcified and clogging steam flow? Demineralizing steam appliances like steamers, irons, espresso machines help clean metal passages from buildup. If a demineralizing solution isn't recommended in your owner's manual, try plain vinegar for several run cycles until steam runs thru then run water thru several cycles before use.
