@xandersheals even if you don't replace the charging port (daughter board) you will still have to disassemble the phone and remove the board. Then clean it with some high grade isopropyl alcohol, a soft toothbrush and some cotton tip applicators. So the work is identical with replacing it. It's just a matter of how confident you are in removing whatever got spilled on it, and hopefully it did not shorten anything out.
