Without a schematic you could try is to use an Ohmmeter and with the power disconnected, measure between the output side of the fuse and an earth point on the board. You should ***''not''*** measure a short circuit i.e. 0.00 Ohms. If you do the fuse will blow.

Perhaps order 2 fuses that way if it does blow you have a replacement for when you find out why the 1st one blew. ;-)
