Kenmore series 500 continuous wash and will not complete

My series 500 washes spins drains then instead of going to complete or done it starts sensing and filling with water again. It will run forever unless you unplug it. If you plug it back in it will automatically start a wash cycle again. I have ran the calibration several times.
