@dumbdumb I wonder if this is your connecting rod to the lock or the handle itself. Anyhow, use the [document|41489] chapter from a workshop manual. Page 15 deals with the door lock. Time to take it apart and to have a look at it. If you are getting stuck on are trying to identify anything more specific, remember you can always post images of that with your Question.
