== Background and Identification ==

The Nexus 5X, initially announced at Google I/O 2015, was launched in October 2015 alongside it's premium counterpart, the Nexus 6P. Like the Nexus 5, the 5X is still manufactured by LG, although it has a significant spec bump over the 2013 model. This year's model features a 64-bit hexa-core processor along with Android Sensor Hub, an always-on motion coprocessor, and a fingerprint reader.

The 5X is made from a molded polycarbonate housing, and the screen measures in at 5.2 inches. The front face features the single speaker and an RGB status LED. The back sports the all-new fingerprint sensor and 12 MP 4K camera. The device ships in three finishes: Carbon, Quartz, and Ice.

== Hintergrund und Identifizierung ==

Das Nexus 5X, wurde auf der Google I/O 2015 angekündigt und  im Oktober 2015 lanciert, gleichzeitig mit dem entsprechenden Premium Modell, dem Nexus 6P. Wie das Nexus 5 wird das Nexus 5X ebenfalls von LG produziert, jedoch hat es signifikante technische Verbesserungen gegenüber dem 2013er Modell. Die wichtigsten neuen Features des Nexus 5X sind ein 64-bit hexacore Prozessor und ein Android Sensor Hub, ein immer aktiver Koprozessor, und ein Fingerabdrucksensor.

Das 5X besteht aus einem geformten Polycarbonat-Gehäuse und der Bildschirm ist 5,2 Zoll groß. Auf der Vorderseite ist ein Lautsprecher und eine RGB Status-LED. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich der neue Fingerabdrucksensor und eine 12 MP 4K Kamera. Das Gerät gibt es in drei Farben: Carbon, Quartz und Ice.
