With the S8 series, Samsung's line of Galaxy phones gets tantalizingly close to the vaunted "nothing but display" ideal. With a curved edge-to-edge display, minimal top and bottom bezels, and a relocated fingerprint sensor, Samsung's smartphones are visually stunning—but like their predecessors, troublesome to repair.

The S8 and S8+ appear almost identical apart from their dimensions and screen size—the smaller S8 features a 5.8" display, with the same 2960 x 1440 resolution as its larger 6.2" sibling.

Mit der S8 Serie kommt Samsung verlockend nah an das gepriesene "nichts außer Display" Ideal. Mit einem gekrümmten randlosen Display, minimalem Rahmen oben und untern, und einem neu positionierten Fingerabdrucksensor, sind Samsungs Smartphones optisch sehr ansprechend, aber wie auch ihre Vorgänger, umständlich zu reparieren.

Das S8 und S8+ wirken fast identisch, abgesehen von ihrer Größe—das kleinere S8 hat ein 5,8" Display, mit derselben 2960 x 1440 Auflösung wie sein größerer 6,2" Bruder.
