iPod Touch Gen 3 Battery Replacement
The iPod was one year old, but was used too often. The battery wasn't holding its charge for more than a day - even without using it!
I follow your guide, and to my surprise it wasn't too hard. The soldering part was a bit challenging but everything went good. Now the battery lasts like the new one.
Try to remove the screen patiently. It might fell apart if you push too hard. It's a good thing if you solder the battery contacts before you set it in the glue that was left over in the metal parts. Overall, it's not a hard process, just a slow one. Good luck!
