Mein Problem

My cousin decided to fall asleep with his surface rt in his bed watching a movie and it fell off the bed and hit the floor. I guess you could say his dreams were shattered. The digitizer was cracked and caused half the screen to not respond and the rest to glitch out. If this happens while your waiting to get your screen go into device manager and disable the touch controls and you can use it like a normal laptop till your screen comes.

Meine Reparatur

Make sure you have a t4 and a t3. The repair itself is simple because the digitizer, lcd, glass, and bezel are all one piece. Best thing I recommend is since its all one piece you can just move one part over at a time with little effort. Its not a hard repair but it is a little time consuming to unscrew everything. Nice part is once the screws are out there are not alot of clips to worry about breaking.
