Rookie iPad Repair

Mein Problem

Due to multiple screen replacements (done by professionals) the Wi-Fi/BT antenna had been displaced and the wire frayed. Eventually the iPad had no connectivity. Not wanting to spend a hundred bucks or more to get it repaired I looked to IFIXIT for help.

Between the low cost part and easy to follow online instructions I was able to fully repair the device and return it to full working order in under an hour!

Mein Rat

First, because this part required a near full strip down of the iPad layers, not only did I learn how to fix this component, but I believe I can actually repair most components in the iPad. The easy to follow instructions provided through IFIXIT and the low cost parts will allow me to keep this iPad running at least twice as long as I normally would keep a device. Now I can let my kids use the device without as much concern that the device is no longer covered under warranty or aftermarket "care" plans.
