Airport Cable Replacement - Awesome

Mein Problem

My computer randomly started telling me there was no wifi hardware installed, and while it would often fix itself if I restarted the computer, after a while the problem persisted. I tried resetting the SMC/PRAM, reinstalling the software, downloading programs, all that great stuff before I concluded it was a hardware issue, not software.

Meine Reparatur

The repair went brilliantly. For starters, everything was shipped on time and extremely quickly. And keep in mind I'm studying abroad for the semester so it was international, and I needed it shipped quickly since the semester was almost over but I couldn't wait to fix it until I got home. I ordered it on a Tuesday, it shipped Wednesday, and arrived on Thursday. I followed the steps outlined on the iFixit page and the process went smoothly and the problem was fixed. My computer's wifi has been going strong for a few weeks.

Mein Rat

Even if the problem hadn't been my Airport cable, the tools and clear instructions and the speed at which everything was shipped definitely added a silver lining to an otherwise crappy situation. (And if the problem hadn't been my cable, obviously it's not the company's fault for my error.) I definitely recommend these guys. Super awesome and friendly service. :) Also, they're hilarious.
