New life for my 2012 iMac

My 2012 iMac turned to be very slow with the latest OS X because of the poor spinning drive performance. Decided to replace it the last Samsung 850 EVO SSD.

With the tools and instructions from ifixit, the whole replacement only took me about 1 hour, much easier than I expected.

Mein Rat

The only advice is to make sure the LCD display is aligned when you put it back to the body. With the adhesive tapes, you don't get second chance to adjust. I had been quite cautious but there's still about 0.5mm difference, though it's barely noticeable.
