This unit has some moisture damage and Apple quoted $315 for repair. This $25 repair fixed it all.

I did have to remove some corrosion from the speaker connector but an eraser on the end of a pencil took care of that, followed up with some alcohol to clean it off. Plugging the connectors back onto the main board can take a couple of tries. Be patient and it will all go fine.
