Mein Problem
My battery was expanding, and causing the phone to separate. It was also causing the phone to randomly power down...going from a healthy charge to 0% in a blink. The camera was just starting to act up as well. All due to this malfunctioning battery.
Meine Reparatur
Slick as gorilla snot. The pkg arrived at my office, and I intended to wait til I got home to tackle the project. The suspense got the better of me however....I tore into the box within a few moments. Following along with the ifixit web instructions, I had that phone back up and running in less than 5min.
Mein Rat
Take your time and follow the picture/video instructions. That original glue/goop wanted to hold on for dear life...go slow.
When closing it up, carefully bend the short span of ribbon between the battery and terminal..into a DOWNWARD loop.
